In the United States and many other countries, our government,
our economy, and our news and entertainment media are almost
totally controlled by an ultra-wealthy elite comprising much
less than 1% of the population.

Is this the best way for human society to function?

Marija Gimbutas, Riane Eisler, Wilhelm Reich, George Gurdjieff,

various viewpoints a pandemic emotional/social illness that has
plagued the human species for the last 5,000 years.

Gimbutas and Eisler called it the "Dominator Paradigm" or
"Dominator Culture". Reich called it the "Emotional Plague".

William Blum's book _Killing Hope_ details how the U.S. government
attacked over fifty different nations between 1945 and 1990, to
prevent their populations from gaining or keeping control of their
own government, economy, and news media. This was done in order to
maintain and increase the profits made by ultra-wealthy American
businessmen in those countries (as well as the profits from weapons
manufacture). The U.S. government, economy, and news media are all
controlled by ultra-wealthy businessmen.

The funding for Hitler's military buildup came from very wealthy
businessmen, 75% of it from Americans, including both of GW Bush's
grandfathers. Their goal was to destroy the democratic, trade union,
social-democratic, and socialist movements that were rapidly expanding
throughout Europe. Because if working people via these movements
gained control of their nations' economies, governments, and news
media, the ultra-wealthy businessmen would no longer be able to rob
them of most of the value of the goods and services their labor
produced. Many of the racial-superiority ideas came from American
organizations also.
